不巴南暹庙堂是马来西亚槟城一座泰国佛寺，距离著名的槟城卧佛寺不远。不巴南暹庙堂（Wat Buppharam Thai Buddhist Temple）也称抱佛寺，大约50年前，一名高僧从泰国清迈一间古寺将佛像携来槟城不巴南暹庙堂，据说这尊来自泰国东北部抱佛神像有超过千年的历史，备受当地佛教徒的敬仰。不巴南暹庙堂有很多流传自泰国的神话、道教的文化皆可在庙里轻易寻及。其中最具特色的是寺庙里的抱佛（Lifting Buddha）不止声名远播，更是吸引海内外各地的人前来膜拜和问事。这尊“普约”抱佛像重达5公斤，高1英尺，凭捧神像的“轻重”来判断神明是否应允信徒的愿望，且百试百灵。抱佛神像多次被人偷偷捧走，而每次都在3、4天后获得送回庙堂，可是2011年9月14日被人偷走后，就再也没有寻回，大家所看到的是新的“普约”抱佛。

Penang Botanical Gardens
Established in 1884, The Penang Botanic Gardens is a public park situated on Jalan Air Terjun (Waterfall Road) in George Town on Penang Island, Malaysia. It is a very popular park for locals doing exercises in the morning and in the evening. The admission is free.
There are a lot of monkeys roaming around in the park. Don’t feed them. They are fully capable of finding food themselves.
Chap Goh Meh Celebration in Penang槟城闹元宵
槟城在正月十五元宵节当日举办了隆重的纪念活动，包括灯会、文艺演出、舞龙舞狮、烟火表演、美食等。
Celebrated on the 15th night of the Chinese New Year, its is also known as the Chinese Valentine’s Day. On this night, with the full moon shining down, young ladies of marrying age venture out to popular sea promenades to throw mandarin oranges into the sea, wishing for a good soul mate.
当地华人元宵节有个特殊的习俗，就是适龄少女会在当晚向海中投掷芦柑，希望能尽早找到如意郎君。大会现场有出售芦柑2马币/粒，海边每位仙女面前有一个桶，大家都尽量远投入桶。
Chinese New Year Open House at Masjid Cina Titi Papan, Penang
In Malaysia, a practice known as “open house” (rumah terbuka) is common during the festivities, especially during Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Deepavali, Chinese New Year, and Christmas. Open house means that all well-wishers are received and that everyone, regardless of background, is invited to attend. Free foods and gifts are prepared by the host.
Masjid Cina Titi Papan is a small mosque in the heart of George Town, Penang. As a mosque that many ethnic Chinese Muslims attend, Masjid Cina Titi Papan hosts a open house event every Chinese New Year.

槟城菜场欢庆福德正神圣诞节
福德正神（土地公公）在中国东南沿海、台湾、南洋被奉为财神，广受尊崇，通常俗称大伯公。正月十五是大伯公的圣诞，从清迈到槟城，南洋华人都举办隆重的庆祝活动，搭台唱戏（给神听）。槟城市中心一个热闹的菜市场就有这样一个戏台。白天祭拜的人多，晚上则搭台唱戏。
