The popular Bengali New Year Festival 2016/ Pohela Boishakh celebration 1423 will be held on April 16th, Saturday. It was tremendous fun the last few years and we are continuing to celebrate the biggest event of Bengali culture this year as well. We will have traditional Bengali folk and modern songs, famous New Year Rally, Live music, stand up comedy, street magic, sports, quizzes, face painting and more. Nearest Subway: Victoria Park Subway (Take Bus #12 & get off at Danforth Ave.,walk 2 blocks west on Danforth).
I bought my coach ticket from New York City to Toronto for $10 on Megabus website.
All Megabus operated departures in New York City are located at 34th St between 11th Ave and 12th Ave. NYC subway line 7 Hudson Yards station is just across street.
Hudson Yards is a fast developing area and the beginning of famous High Line Park.
Megabus operates double-decker buses on most routes. I like being upstairs because the roof is see through.
Certain numbered seats upstairs could have been reserved by passengers who have paid extra fees for those particular seats. Seats on the first row are very popular although those are the most dangerous seats. When an accident happens, passengers in those seats die first.
On my bus, only a few people paid extra to reserve a seat on row 1 or row 2. Other numbered seats are free to take.

每年7月底举办的渥太华国际街头艺人节吸引来自世界各地的杂耍艺人来加拿大首都街头卖艺，热闹仿佛老北京天桥，孩子们尤其喜爱围观。表演艺人们不拿薪水，而是靠观众打赏获取收入。所以艺人们都会故意制造喧嚣热闹的气氛吸引尽可能多的观众围观，并增加与观众的有趣互动，例如调侃一下美国人或者中国人。不时还要提醒一下观众自己的收入完全靠打赏，有的人还可能羞辱一下不想打赏中途退场的观众。而压场节目结束后艺人会接受观众打赏。很多加拿大人都拿出钞票给小朋友们转递给街头艺人。
加拿大还有很多类似节日，包括规模更大的多伦多国际街头艺人节。国际街头艺人来加拿大节日表演赚钱并不需要工作签证，其他还有很多表演、艺术、运动类工作都不需要工作签证，中国普通游客一样可以合法在加拿大从事这类工作赚钱，例如DJ、胸口碎大石、生吞大宝剑。完整名单见加拿大政府官网。
