Montreal’s Chinatown

Rue Saint-Jean, Quebec City, Canada
The bohemian, colorful, and friendly neighborhood of Saint-Jean is Québec City at its finest.
Stroll down rue Saint-Jean and discover J.A. Moisan, the oldest grocery store in North America (1871), the Second Empire-style Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church, and St. Matthew’s Church and cemetery.
Bustling with boutiques, restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores, the neighborhood is a great place to hang out.
VIA Rail Trip from Ottawa to Quebec

Changing of the Guard, Parliament Hill, Ottawa, Canada
June 26-August 20, 2016
Every summer morning Parliament Hill is alive with music and colourful drills. The Changing of the Guard began as a morning routine on the Hill in 1959, and has turned into an annual tradition. This large-scale production includes a regimental band and pipers. The ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. each morning, but arrive about 15 minutes early to grab a spot with a great view.
