The Riverside District (Located on historic Queen St. East between the DVP and Empire Ave)

Come and join us for a street festival showcasing Riverside’s family friendly food outlets and unique small town atmosphere. The Riverside District is renowned for its home design shops, heritage architecture, coffee shops, food providores and popular contemporary restaurants. Local eateries will be opening their doors serving tasting plates and musical entertainment in the heart of Queen Street East. Entertainment for young and old will be provided.

The annual All-night Jewish Learning Festival, in celebration of the holiday of Shavuot, is back for its sixth year at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre (MNjcc). This truly enlightening event is the largest of its kind in Canada and combines traditional and contemporary approaches to Jewish lifestyle, practices and concerns. The Festival is truly “doors-open Judaism,” a diverse, inclusive experience where everyone is invited to nourish their own interests and try something new with over 40 unique free workshops.
