The marriage of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) couples has been legal throughout Canada since the implementation of the federal Civil Marriage Act in 2005.

In Toronto, we are proud to be the fourth largest city in North America and home to a diverse population of which over 50% come from outside of Canada. Of the worlds 196 nations, we are one of only sixteen countries across the globe that has legalized same-sex marriage.

After the ceremony, couples and their guests celebrate together by enjoying live entertainment and dancing away the evening! Over 100 couples will be joining us to celebrate this historic event.
