Is Three a Crowd?
junctQín keyboard collective presents a unique programme for three pianists at one piano! This recital by pianists Stephanie Chua, Elaine Lau and Joseph Ferretti for six-hands features pieces by an international roster of composers from an arrangement of a Bach chorale to a virtuosic work by Russian composer Alfred Schnittke to a new commission from emerging Toronto composer Stephanie Orlando. Some might ask, “Is it possible for three pianists to play one piano?” and “How would this even sound?” Join us to find out!
