In Fira, Santorini’s capital, this cute eight-room cliffside retreat is a colorful new addition to the island’s boutique hotel scene. Opened at the end of May 2015, the property features rooms and suites decked out in shades of lemon yellow, coral and lavender (inspired by the sunsets over the caldera, which can be seen from every room). All rooms are carved out of stone and come with a Jacuzzi (indoors in the Deluxe Double Rooms, outdoors in the Suites), a private balcony or patio, and cavelike bathrooms with robes, slippers and products made from the island’s olive oil. Beyond the cool, cavernous rooms, the hotel’s café bar and restaurant serves cocktails and Mediterranean fare. Or you can choose to have a hearty Greek breakfast on your balcony each day. In-room spa services are available (on request), and the hotel can arrange island excursions including wine tastings, cooking classes and boat trips.
