Tell Me Something Good: Pride Edition

Inspired by Bawdy Storytelling in California, Tell Me Something Good (TellMeToronto) brings sexy storytelling to Toronto. Samantha Fraser (@nympsam) and Sophie Delancey (@sophiedelancey) are your lovely co-hosts every month for your storytelling pleasure. Tell Me Something Good is your opportunity to share short stories of sexual glory, gaffes, and growth for the chance to win sexy prizes, or if you’d rather not share, feel free to just sit back and be entertained.

Doors at 8 with some fun warm-up activities, including Truth or Dare. Storytelling kicks off at 9 pm sharp! Also, this event will be free once again, so make sure you show up early to grab your seat.

How it works for Interested Storytellers:
You sign up and we’ll toss names into a hat to pick up to 10-15 storytellers for slots of up to 5 minutes each. There are points for engaging with the audience (so don’t just read the whole thing!) and it must be a true story!

It’s PRIDE! Well, it will be SLIGHTLY AFTER PRIDE. That means we’re doing a Pride-related edition of Tell Me Something Good. Coming out, celebrating pride, queering things… But, it’s not just that! We’re also celebrating pride in yourself, your sexuality, your body… It’s a bit of a free for all so that everyone can be included, but a broad topic means you’re guaranteed to have a story to share or a commonality found as an audience member. Also, it’s an excuse to keep the party going through midweek. You just haven’t had enough, right?

We’ll have an esteemed panel of judges who will start the night off with a few of their own stories and then rank each entry to choose our winners at the end of the night.

Our judges for this month:

Playwright and Director Tabia Lau
Comedian Filip Jeremic
Activist and Journalist Elle Chronique
