Cebu Pacific to start flying to Riyadh, holds seat sale

CEBU Pacific will launch thrice weekly non-stop flights to Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia starting Oct. 1, 2014. It will be the only low-cost carrier flying between the Philippines and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Riyadh service is scheduled to depart Manila at 5:05 p.m. every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Riyadh at 10:35pm. The return flight will depart Riyadh at 12:45am every Monday, Thursday and Saturday, arriving in Manila at 3:40pm.

To introduce the new route, CEB is holding a PHP 1 seat sale for flights from Manila to Riyadh, from Sept. 8 to 10, 2014. Travel period is from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, 2014.

After the seat sale, fares to Riyadh start at P3,499.

“We have long wanted to serve the substantial population of Global Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It will be our utmost pleasure to bring them home more often, on our extensive network and trademark low fares that are up to 35 percent lower than other airlines,” said CEB General Manager for Long-Haul Division Alex Reyes.

“With Dammam, Kuwait, Dubai and now Riyadh, Cebu Pacific’s network in the Middle East is made wider. We offer the most number of seats on this direct route, so there are more affordable and faster flights home for the Global Filipinos working and living in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” he added. (PR)
