The red-crested cardinal (Paroaria coronata) is a songbird which can be found mainly in northern Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil’s Rio Grande do Sul and southern part of the Pantanal. It has also been introduced to Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
