Tunisair (TU, Tunis) has announced it will wet-lease an A340-300 from AirAsia X (D7, Kuala Lumpur Int’l) for use on its Hajj charter flights. ch-aviation schedule data shows that during the course fo this month, the Tunisian national carrier will operate 9M-XAB (cn 273) on flights from Monastir, Sfax, Tabarka, and Tunis to Jeddah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia.

Two cops nabbed for kidnapping Chinese
MANILA – Two policemen were arrested for allegedly abducting a Chinese national last Monday in Monumento, Caloocan City.
Police Officer 1 Danilo Sytamco Jr. and Police Officer 2 Zerzes Martin, both assigned to Bulacan Police, are now in custody of Caloocan Police. They are accused of abducting 43-year-old Lin Han Zhang at the LRT 1 Monumento Station last Monday.

Airport terminals declared a ‘no wang-wang zone’
MANILA, Philippines—Fall in line or fall flat on your face.
This was the warning raised by airport officials against travelers who jump the queue to get ahead of the others at the airport terminals.
“Naia (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) is a no wang-wang (siren) zone. Please fall in line to avoid embarrassment. CCTV-monitored area,” read the posters put up by the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) at the different queuing areas, particularly at the immigration counters, of Naia terminals.
The big signages bear the logos of the MIAA and the Department of Transportation and Communications.
