Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, scores of tourists are attracted to Jonker Street for the weekly night market. It has become far more commercial in recent years. Be aware of a few dressed up guys who will send a child to ask you for money aggressively if you take a picture of the street view even from a far away location as they will claim you try to photograph them.

我多年前吃过这一间的鸡饭粒,还不错,虽然服务员冷冰冰。由于生意太好,现在服务态度更差,而且只做批发,要买就至少买半只鸡,近25马币,1个人去吃会撑死,老板却只会冷冷的回一句”那就没有了”。过了桥不要一直往前走上鸡场街,而应该立刻向右观望寻找。中华茶室就在靠近河边的方位上(紧邻HardRock咖啡),通常都有人排队。周围还有好多别的鸡饭粒餐馆。我听很多人说蔡澜推荐的那家难吃,实际看看了没有一个客人。
