日本でチューンホテルを展開する、レッドプラネットジャパンは、5月13日、2014年9月期第2四半期（1月〜3月）の決算短信を発表した。
ホテル事業については、「利用者からの評価も高く、概ね順調」であるものの、売上高は8700万円、損失は1億2100万円となった。
なお、同社は7月31日に、名古屋市中区の3軒目のホテル建設予定地の土地を取得する予定。オープンは2016年5月を予定している。
