IRSS Legacy Celebration

The Indian Residential School Survivors Legacy Celebration is a free, all-ages event features Indigenous music, dance, drumming, storytelling, workshops, food and artisans. It will also raise awareness of a Turtle sculpture and healing space to be constructed on the southwestern corner of the Square.

Featuring works from both traditional and contemporary repertoire, these artists will take you on a journey through the East via the silk road. Combining Chinese and Persian styles, come and witness the colourful clashes and combinations of unique sounds that will create an everlasting impression that music has no borders, no boundaries, and no nationality.
