Natsu Matsuri Summer Festival

The JCCC would like to invite everyone to come out on Saturday July 12, 2014 for the 12th Annual Natsu Matsuri (3:00pm – 7:00pm) and Obon (7:00pm – end) Festival. Please join us for a lively summer festival atmosphere with games, great food, spectacular performances and dance!
Every year we add new Japanese summer traditions to the festival. Last year we added the celebration of Tanabata, featuring a special Wishing Tree, Somen Bar and Tanabata activities for children. Those were a big hit and will be part of this year’s festival once again! This year we will be adding two more essential elements of Japanese summer festivals: a BEER GARDEN and HANABI (fireworks; weather permitting!

Many community organizations come together to make this a unique event. Weather permitting, the event will take place outside in the parking lot, on the grounds and inside the JCCC inself, or if the case of rain, we will move everything indoors (except for the fireworks, of course ). We look forward to the 12th year of this exciting JCCC and community tradition. We hope to see lots of new and familiar faces. Mark your calendars now! Everyone is welcome and admission is free!
