2016 Iluminasian Mid-Autumn Moon & Lantern Festival!

The Mid-Autumn Festival has a history of over 3,000 years, dating back to moon worship in the Shang Dynasty (1600–1046 BC). This annual harvest festival celebrates feasting, merriment, music and fertility. Traditionally, the Mid-Autumn Festival is culturally celebrated by East Asian Countries on the 15th day of the 8 month of the lunar calendar.

The highly anticipated launch of the first annual iluminasian Festival will showcase many traditional customs mixed with a fusion of uniquely contemporary signature Asian night market features including food vendors, traditional live musical entertainment and fire dragon dance shows. In harmony with the season, generations of family and friends have an opportunity to get together and enjoy the popular tradition of eating moon cake with spectacular views of glowing lanterns in all shapes and sizes.
