$1 New Zealand Mana Bus and Naked Bus are Gone, SKIP is filling the gap

Mana Bus and Naked Bus used to offer cheap bus tickets for as low as $1 in New Zealand. But they ceased operation on 15 July 2018.

A bus company called SKIP wants to fill the gap in the New Zealand market and offer cheaper express bus travel on selected routes. They have limited stops and also free WiFi.

SKIP is the New Zealand’s newest Bus company (https://skip.travel) offering travellers affordable, reliable and faster connections between major North Island cities. SKIP launched in November 2018 and has six bus services (more will be added as demand grows!).
