MANILA, Philippines – Tigerair Singapore’s flights to Asia Pacific and Middle East are now available for sale on Cebu Pacific’s website as the airlines’ interline agreement reached its final phase.
Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific’s vice president for marketing and distribution, said the interline agreement means passengers could now cross-book flights of either airlines through their websites.
“With the final phase of this interline agreement in place, cross-booking flights on a single itinerary to the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East becomes very convenient,” said Iyog.
The ability to cross-book flights on a single itinerary allows customers to connect seamlessly through one-stop ticketing and baggage check-in.
Cebu Pacific’s partnership with Tigerair Singapore expands its network with the inclusion of new destinations like Australia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Maldives and Thailand.
Cebu Pacific flights became available on Tigerair Singapore’s website last July 23.
Both airlines operate out of Singapore’s Changi International Airport Terminal 2.
Guests taking Cebu Pacific’s direct flights from Manila, Cebu, Clark or Iloilocan avail of the CEBConnect product upon landing in Singapore for a fast and seamless transfer.
Guests who purchased CEBConnect simply have to collect a boarding pass for the onward flight at Changi Airport Transfer Lounge E. There is no more need to clear through immigration, pick up bags or check in again. This is applicable for flights with a minimum of two hours connecting time at Changi Airport. – Rappler.com
