Kuala Lumpur: AirAsia has reconnected Kuala Lumpur to Cebu in the Philippines.
The flight to the oldest city in that country, took off Thursday with a 70 per cent load.
The Kuala Lumpur-Cebu sector was previously serviced by AirAsia Philippines and terminated in December last year.
AirAsia is the only airline to operate the three-times weekly direct flight between the two cities.
AirAsia in a statement said in conjunction with the resumption of service, it was offering a special promotion for the route with an all-in-fare from as low as RM169 one way.
Cebu is AirAsia’s third destination in the Philippines with direct flights also available from Kota Kinabalu. -Bernama
