新加坡牛車水是本地人和旅人必造訪之地，牛車水小販中心裡隱身一群身懷絕技的廚藝高手，闖蕩中餐料理30多年的油雞飯麵師傅陳翰銘，正是這次獲米其林一星肯定的小販中心業者。
清晨天未亮，牛車水小販中心的「香港油雞飯麵」（Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice and Noodle）內已忙得不可開交，約兩坪大小空間裡，包括陳翰銘在內共4名油雞工作團隊正聚精會神烤炙油嫩爽口的油雞。
陳翰銘告訴中央社記者說，他在偶然機緣下向香港老師傅習得製作油雞的不傳之秘，新加坡當年不流行油雞，由於油雞本質、醬料及味道的確與眾不同，他因此不斷琢磨如何再豐富油雞料理內涵，進而研製出獨特風味，和香港的油雞飯一較高下。

从新加坡市区到机场Uber大约22新元，耗时20多分钟。因为搭乘全日空航班，来到新加坡机场2号航站楼。全日空的值机人员面无笑容，颇为冷淡。这些工作都是交给机场的代理来处理的吧。上次沙特阿拉伯航空新加坡出发也是一个友族同胞办理值机，把我的航空公司常旅客编号输错，损失了好几千英里里程。
这次有所改进的是值机大厅就有充电插头。很多航空公司可以提前最多24小时值机，然后大家就可以出境到候机区休息了。新加坡机场边检区前后都不安检（出境前有抽查进行行李扫描，但大家一样可以把饮料带入，因为并非正式登机安检）。大家办理完出境手续后，可以在机场免税店购物、餐饮、娱乐、休息，临出发再去登机口，那里需要安检才能进入登机口的候机室。建议飞机起飞前至少30分钟抵达登机口接受安检，如果仅剩10分钟才抵达安检口有可能无法登机。
T2有好几个花园，白天夜晚都开放，包括楼上的向日葵花园。
