The Muhtadi International Drumming Festival is an annual event that celebrates the drum, its universality as an art form, and its cultural relevance today in communities around the world. The Festival is free to the public and accessible to everyone. The 2014 festival will celebrate their 15th anniversary. Where all cultures come together, drumming and dancing to one beat! 40+ local and national Drum Groups, Long & McQuade Drum Zone, interactive area and much more.

Horse Day is a free, one-day, public event designed to educate people of all ages about horses and provides visitors with the opportunity to experience horses up close and personal. Horse Day includes educational stations, riding and driving demonstrations and information displays in an effort to promote horses and equestrian activity in Ontario.

This free family event features a variety of demonstrations, interactive exhibits, games, special guests and much more!

Be sure to make or buy your own stick horse so your child can participate in the stick horse class and download the colouring piece off the OEF’s website and bring it with you to add to the mural being created.
