Toronto’s only festival celebrating the cuisine and culture of the Americas features international chefs, food competitions, free Latin dance classes and performances. This free-to-attend festival at Yonge-Dundas Square includes a marketplace, competitive cook-offs, demos, coffee tastings, kids activities and more. Musical performances take place throughout the two days, with musical stars Fito Blanco and Chantel Collado, “the Princess of Bachata”, headlining. A highlight of the festival will take place on Saturday at 5:00 pm at Yonge-Dundas Square when the glittering Carnaval of Bolivia will bring all the colour, energy and excitement of the country’s carnival traditions to Toronto, with dancers, revelers and mythical creatures on parade.
