DVD price at this Wal-Mart in Wuhan is 5.9 RMB or 75 cents Canadian each. They are legitimate DVDs. Those pirated DVDs can be purchased at the price of 1 or 2 RMB or no more than 25 cents Canadian each outside the mall. The wholesale price for pirated DVD is 50 cents RMB or 6 cents Canadian each. They are sold for $6 Canadian in Chinatown here in Toronto.
Jiefang Park in Hankou, Wuhan
I was waiting for a bus to Jianghan Road which is a shopping heaven in Hankou, downtown Wuhan
I got off the bus at a bus stop on Dr Sun Yat-Sen Avenue near Jianghan Road. Stores along this avenue resemble those on Queen Street West in Toronto. I entered a small clothing store right behind the bus stop. I fell in love with a DKNY shirt immediately. It is very well made which you can tell just from its buttons. Every button is an art work. Each button is unique. They are all different. Each one is designed for its specific position to match the pattern of the shirt.
